It's been 'some' week' and it looks like it'll continue thru November...but, I'm pretty sure at least TILLEY and I will be there. PS: Sheroyn and I were in Greenville for the "Walk for Cure"; spent the night and headed for Caesars Head this morning. That is a fun trip; we all did it once, but we should be it back on the agenda to do again. Aunt Susies at the bottom of the mountain would be a great place to eat after seeing the sights and tak'in the twistes. Anyway, see you all Friday evening.
Well, I couldn't find a Starbucks in Blythewood, but I DID find an ice cream/coffee shop, called Cafe Vienna. According to Google maps, it's across the road from Carolina Wings and right off I-77.
Wanna give it a try? Here's the map: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...h&z=17&iwloc=A
And here's the Web page (link to pdf menu on this page): http://www.blythewoodnet.net/ad-cafe-vienna.htm

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Once again, the scheduling gods are messing with me. As I mentioned to some folks in Orlando, I'll be missing the October gathering. I signed up for a conference in Montreat that weekend and we're going up on Friday morning
I appreciate that Carol found a place closer to me
and I'm sorry to miss the Columbia regulars yet again. Please don't excommunicate me. I'll do better - I promise. November is not that far off.It was good to see everyone in Orlando.
Steve
Ya'll got any gas down there? I am down to 1/2 tank or less. Have to go to VA Hospital friday morning in Salisbury: Hopefull to your wingy in Bythewood; Then Denver for the Annual Meeting and sunday back down to Columbia for British Car Show. Every station around where I live is out. Shell station around the corner got some but sold out in less than 5 hours. *&^&^@#@#$
There IS gas to be had, here and there ... hit or miss ... I had trouble finding premium last week. It and mid-grade disappeared here in ONE DAY.
Someone told me yest. they'd seen premium in West Columbia; however, I can't speak to the northeast area. I'll try and scout around.
Carol, have you seen what's what out your way?

Our pumps on post only have regular, not sure about off-post near here. They just lifted the ten gallon limit last week. Am waiting to see if they show up with mid-grade any time soon...
We might have some here if the tanker drivers quit falling asleep at the wheel and turning over? 2 in 2 days in Charlotte area. Might have to drive down and fuel my stomach and tank.
Still hit and miss here, but I think you'll be able to find some. Driving around yest. and this morning, I noticed stations that had gas--premium, too--and right across or down the street, the next station didn't.
Strange times, indeed.

Great wings, and great fellowship!! Had to settle for regular gas on way back to charlotte. It was only 3.69 at Love's. Glad I stocked up on octane boost. Hope to see ya at annual meeting tomorrow.
