Put Your Hands Up For Detroit...

...I Love This City! Detroit Tuned BBK Installed!

Ok Folks, here it is...the Detroit Tuned BBK on a R56 Cooper S.

First off, this must be said. Chad and the people of Detroit Tuned are absolutely wonderful and I felt super confident when speaking with him while setting up my order. He is a fair and honest person and has terrific customer service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Helped me every step of the process and was there when I called with questions. Took his time explaining and made sure I understood what he was talking about. Not to mention he sent the BBK out to me and I received it within 3 days on normal shipping, and yes, I live half way across the country from him. Again, great service. Hats off to Detroit Tuned.

As for the Wheels:

I am running 17 inch Team Dynamics 1.2 Wheels from Outmotoring with the 17" BBK that Detriot Tuned offers. My wheels fit the BBK perfectly with ample room for a great fit. As many of you probably know, TeamD wheels are among the best for fitment of BBKs.

Install:

It was a breeze to put on. Ultra detailed instructions. A 13 page packet that looked similar to my college textbooks with explanations of pictures and clear, concise directions. I had no rotor fitment issues at all. For present and future R56 owners, feel confident that this BBK will work great on your car! My brake mechanic finished in 1.5 hours. Went to break them in and it was like I had a brick under my foot. The BBK has great bite and is very responsive. A major difference over stock. It does what its suppose to do and far exceeded my expectations. I also got rear pads and SS Brake lines to match the front. The whole kit is wonderful and it looks great. Didn't go flashy, stayed wit Black Calipers and love the way they look.

Again, thanks Chad and Detroit Tuned! Here are some pics:

Lived in the Detroit area, moved to the Twin Cities for college, didn't want to come back, my parents moved out to join me.

I like Detroit Tuned's products, but I don't think they're gonna save Detroit single handed

Can't wait to see the BBK.
