Does Mini have a complete list of Items it deams as a warranty Item? I can understand Brake Pads, Tires and wear and tear items not being covered.
Took my car through a car wash and the Antenna plastic base broke??? Service said Mini says not to take your car through Car Washes??? That is so stupid!! Why not just say, don't drive your car, because if something breaks while doing it, we will not cover it! Not soo happy now... I bought the part and it took 5 minutes to install...

 

Desert MINI are bozos. Unless the owners manual clearly says not to, they should replace it.

In my case the MINI logo in the center of my steering well got mangled from using the horn. They said it wasn't covered because the horn is activated using the outer ring of the part. I showed them the owners manual that clearly points to the center as the horn. Astle then said he would look into it. never heard back. Didn't press the issue because that is an item on the MINI checklist at the second service interval so I fully expect them to replace it then. If not, THEN I'm gonna raise he$$ with them.
