Does anyone happen to have a copy of some of the item pages from the original JCW / JCM website before BMW bought the name? Or maybe some catalog scans? I'm wondering what exactly was available from JCM for the R50 cooper. Any help / information would be appreciated.

 

As far as I know there was an intake that wore the John Cooper Motorsports logo. It is very similar in design to the DDM Cooper intake. I recall all the interior bits and little exterior bits as well. If I'm not mistaken, there where wheel spacers (6.5mm) that where used in conjunction with the R81 7 hole wheels. There was also an exhaust, might have been a bit more less restrictive than the standard John Cooper Works cat-back. All these parts were used in the John Cooper Challenge until the 2006 season when people stopped racing the R50's. Hope this helps, it's all from memory.

 

I have one of the JCW intakes for my 2002R50.....seems to work ok though it's really a Hot air intake

 

much better parts on the market from the after-market tuners the jcw R50 stuff was never worth the cost imo
