Help!

I'm ordering my first Mini this coming Saturday and I'm up in the air on the color. I know I want either BRG or Lightning Blue. Either one will be with a white roof/mirrors.

The car is going to be a non-S Cooper with the standard 5 star wheels. Plans are to eventually pick up a set of Rota Rb's for summer, and a set of first-generation "Holies" for winter wheels.

I'm a huge fan of BRG with white roof and bonnet stripes, but only if its sporting the tan leather. The L blue looks better with black interior

I vote BRG/W with the bonnet stripes.
But if you can't make up your mind between the two, there's always Chili Red.

Tough desision.....BRG has that traditional vibe to it, but LiB looks great, too. For me it came down to the fact that I am a "blue" person, not green...my first MINI was Indi Blue/White and I loved it!!!

Both would look awesome (and traditional) w/ a white roof...you'll have to dig deep to make a decision on this one.

I hear ya on this, but the wife HATES red cars, and they're not my fav, (although I think a Mini looks great in red,) so that's out.

I'm leaning towards the blue, but we'll see. Either one will be with the black cheque interior and the basic silver trim.

I vote for Lightning Blue, it looks great with white roof and if you just get the original grey seats, it goes well with blue, better than with Green.

 

In the area I live, you see many more LiBs than BRGs. So, if uniqueness is a value to you, go with BRG.

 

I would go with BRG. Lightening Blue is getting to be very common. Seems like at least 50% of the MINIs on NAM are LB.

 

I went with the BRG with white roof, mirrors and wheels, no stripes (sporty yet conservative). I did this for a few reasons, green is my favorite color, the BRG is classic British and I think the contrast between the white and green looks fantastic. And as one other poster noted, it is not as prevalent as other colors.
Mine is being built as we type.

 

BRG was my choice, my wife's choice was MY. We flipped a coin. I lost. :(

PS- love the MY now.

 

I'd go with Dark Silver! My favorite color! Between LB and BRG, I'd go with the BRG which is relatively unique!

 

I'd love to do Dark Silver, but no MCS for me, so no Dark silver available.

I'm starting to lean towards the BRG, but I guess we'll see.

I found it near impossible to settle on one color I loved. There are so many great combo's for the Mini. One color I love for the non-s is the Burgundy. I don't see many in that color and it looks really sharp.

Green or Blue, -I like Blue better.

 

Go Green! All Green -- body, roof, mirror covers.

I love the LB...especially when it has all the little extras...sideviews, driving lights, Bonnet stripes... I love the BRG too... its classic and will always be classic..simple perfection...it depends...think long term too... Good Luck!! Either way, you can't go wrong!

 

I vote LiB but you better hurry because they are not offering it past November. The new blue will be Horizon Blue.

 

Nightfire Red is a great Cooper only color. I wish it was available for the MCS when I ordered.

BRG fits well with the modernization of the MINI heritage.

 

Does Lightening Blue equal Laser Blue or are the slightly different???

 

Laser Blue is much lighter and MCS only. Both are metallic.
