After-Market Armrest Ideas, Getting Rid of My OEM One

Hey folks, I have a new condition OEM armrest that I don't like. It came on my 2006 MINI. I will be selling it when I do a swap, so look for it then.

What I want is an armrest that sits way higher and far forward than my OEM armrest. The OEM sits too low for me to rest my arm on [hmm.... an armrest that is not an arm rest, go figure.] I guess the problem is that I have short, stocky arms, so my right arm does not extend low enough to hit the armrest.

Also, I like being able to lightly rest my arm so my hand is on the gear shift ****. It's what I am used to, so that is what I want. [I avoid putting pressure on it, I just like resting my hand on the shifter.]

Anyone have ideas on what armrest will fit my needs? Any pics of yours? If you have one that works as above, can you provide me a link to where I can buy it.

Thanks in advance. And I am doing this now, so look in a few weeks or PM me if you want to buy my OEM armrest. I know they sell for $250 [at least it did no my 2006 options list.] I have no idea what a used, but mint, OEM armrest should sell for, but I am always fair if not too fair]. Never look to make a killing when I sell stuff.

Here is a pic of mine. Note it's excellent condition.
