need Tips on painting my Slites

so im going to paint my slites white or black ( i have a hyper blue mini with a white top )

anyways i need some tips or pointers.. im just going to paint not powercoat

obviously wash well and remove dirt and brake dust.

what kind of paint do i need?
do i need to primer anything?
how many coats of paint do i need?
do i need to sand before painting?

if anyone could give me some pointers that be way awesome!

thanks all

theres different ways to do it, depends if you want a clear coat, gloss, flat finsih, etc...dupli color makes a "wheel coating" my friend painted his stock rims on his dakota with cheap flat paint and primer, and its held up for months fine

best option is to powdercoat them though for a more permanent finish.
