Charlotte Area September Breakfast

Greetings all!
I was thinking of a good spot for breakfast before the next Hendicks Saturday. I enjoy the Crown Point Restaurant - plenty of good food - a great parking area to show off our Minis and not far from Hendricks. Comments anyone? Thanks for the post and we will go to the Crown Point Restaurant Sep 20th. Meet about 8:30 in the parking lot and Breakfast about 9:00AM.

I would love to be there but since my surgery is this Wednesday, I know I won't be able to drive by then so I guess you need to count me out of this one. Maybe next month.

Sounds Cool, you should get with Chris "SSSSSSSS". He is current VP in Charlotte and usually sets up our once a month Meets here.

directions

Just realized maybe not everyone knows where the Crown Point Restaurant is located. The address is 2518 Sardis Road North. The restaurant is close to the Independence Blvd end of Sardis Road North. It is tucked behind Buffalo Wild Wings in the Crown Point Shopping area.
Sardis Road North is approximately 5 miles west of I-485 or approximately 2.5 miles east of Hendricks on US 74. You can only turn one way onto Sardis Road North from Independence. Once on Sardis, take the first left - the restaurant will be on your right. There is a large parking area just beyond the restaurant where we can all park together. I should be at the meet and eat tonight if you need better instructions. I hope to see everyone Saturday morning.
Regards,
Steve

Well darn, duty calls! The local Habitat for Humanity called me, they're doing a blitz build and need me to help them with russes this weekend and framing next.

As you guys know, I have a lot of energy, I'm not afraid to boss people around, and you may not know I can swing a hammer even if I can't turn a wrench. So...they call me when they need help.

Enjoy and take pictures! I want to see the new members/cars...

Well it was great to see some familiar faces and some new faces at Hendricks MINI today.
I would like to extend my personal welcome to Kevin that showed true MINI spirit by driving 4 hours from Jacksonville, NC to meet up with everyone.

Here are a few pictures that I took while visiting...

Great turnout for breakfast and enjoyed meeting some new people and signing up a new member just picking up his new Chocolate Clubman. Kevin motored all the way from Jacksonville NC to see what some MINI Nuts look like. Great pic's there Boo Boo! No pun intended bearman or Bear Dragon Victim. See most of you kids thursday in Orlando!!!!!!

Wow! I rrreeeaalllyy like that white/red/black color scheme! That thing looks FANTASTIC! (Not even sure who's it is, and can't wait to see it on person.) It reminds me of the Martini Porsche color scheme (I think it was) from the late '70s.
