I can't wait for the JCW aero side skirts for the clubman and I look forward to see what they do with the rear.

I'd like to know when the JCW exhaust for the clubman will be available too.

I guess I just assumed the exhaust on the Clubman had been upgraded as well as they did with the hardtop. Is this not the case? Is this is true, no upgraded exhaust, I'm really having a hard time justifying the added cost of the clubman with all the options that aren't being offered on that model.

JCW Aero Kit Due in 1st Quarter of 2009

I've has several conversations with the Parts/Accessories guy for MINIUSA and he's said that the JCW Aero Kit for the Clubman is slated to be available in the first quarter of 2009.

I decided not to wait, and order the parts for the Front pieces of the JCW Aero Kit, along with the side skirts for the Factory Aero Kit to add to my JCW Clubman when it arrives. I'm leaving the rear bumper alone.

I imagine if you talk to your Dealer Parts person (or call Classic MINI's Parts Dept) you can get the parts numbers and availability of the exhaust system on the JCW Clubman and install it on your Clubman S.

I was thinking of going this route too. How much is the dealer charging the purchase, paint and install of the JCW front bumper, if you don't mind posting?

I may opt for the factory aero kit then swap the front bumper out for the JCW.

Performance Angst,

Actually the selling dealer isn't involved. The car is being purchased out-of-state, and then being driven back to the S.F. Bay Area.

All the parts are being purchased from Classic MINI in Mentor, Ohio for 20% off MSRP plus shipping. And the body shop who did the JCW Aero Kit on my wife's R-56 Coupe is doing the work when I get back. I estimate it will be approx $1,000. for the paint/disassembly/assembly.

Your idea to get the factory aero kit
for the side skirts is a good one, but I don't know about the cost of that kit vs how much more you'd need to change to get the front JCW Aero pieces.

The parts for the Aero Front are $500; the factory Aero sideskirts $660 plus shipping. The Factory Aero Kit is listed $ 1,250.

IN looking at the MINIUSA build process drawings you'd need to change the bumper cover, lower grill, grill surrounds, fog light covers, lower grill, and maybe the upper grill as well.

If you liked the look of the rear factory aero bumper, and didn't mind spending about $1,000 for the JCW front and install, you'd have a about $2,250 tied up in your "Aero Kit" combination...somewhat of a wash.

There may be better pictures of the factory aero bumpers/side skirts on Motoringfile.com. DO a search for the Canadian version of the JCW car as they come standard in Canada with the factoctory aero pieces

Do you have a list of part #'s and prices for the JCW aero pieces I would need to purchase to swap the front bumper and grills? The SA I talked to was pretty clueless and stated they have never installed a JCW front on a clubman !!!!

Ordered all the JCW front facia & aero kit side skirts from my local dealer. Had it all painted at a local shop along with the other bits I body colored. I've got a few other pieces either awaiting install or on the way.

They are discussing the JCW aero kit and not the factory aero kit pictured below.

Ahhhh the vaporware aero kit? Has anyone even confirmed this new kit is going to exist? I've seen multiple posts saying there is a JCW aero kit coming out in Q1 2009... So I'm intrigued :D

Not vaporware anymore, thus the Motoringfile post.

The side skirts have the painted areas end where the black fenders start, but the front bumper doesnt do that Just my opinion... looks sweet no matter what!

Front dam should be identical to the R56 kit, the only difference will be the length of the side skirts and this rear bumper:

^^^ They are saying that what you are picturing is the "factory aero kit" and not the JCW aero kit. (you can see the posts a few above yours that says this) I didn't know there were 2 aero kits, so I have no clue.

Yes, that is the OEM aero kit, not the JCW aero kit.
