MI Window Tint Laws
MI Window Tint Laws
I'm wondering if anyone knows for sure the MI window tinting laws? I just moved in-state from Indiana and a MCS I ordered will be arriving in a few weeks. I actually ordered from the dealership in Indianapolis before I moved, so I can't ask them the MI laws. From what I've found, it looks like you can't do anything on the front windows, but can put any percentage you like on the rear side windows and rear window?
Is there anyone with a tinted Mini around the Westland area that I could maybe meet up with to take a look at their level of tint in person? I've never had a tinted car before so I'd like to see it in person before deciding on it.
Anyone have recommendations on installers in the area? The dealership in Indianapolis quoted me $235 for all but the front window, but I don't know if I can use them since the Indiana requirements are different.

Limo Black in back
Here is what we had installed at the spring clean-up last year. This look is totally legal. Several of our members have been stopped by the enforcers for tint.
