English Pub (MINI Show) & Japanese Dining in Greenwood - Sept. 13, 2008

So we've nailed down a date, and here's the details:

Saturday, September 13, 2008
Nagoya Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar
225 Bypass 72 NW
Greenwood, SC

Tentative Time: 6PM (This may change if it's easier on folks making a longer drive, let me know!)

Map:
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie...i=lmd&z=14&t=m

I am planning for us to dine at the habachi tables. Each table seats ten people, so I'd like a head count in advance so I can request multiple tables reserved. There is a full sushi bar (and Rudy does an amazing job), and you can order sushi at the habachi table. I have scanned in their menu and attached it.

Also...

The local British pub will be hosting us for a MINI car "show" from 12 noon until about 4 pm! This event will be advertised on the local radio stations, and we're hoping to drum up more than enough MINIs to circle the pub. If you know anyone or happen to have an extra MINI (or Mini), please bring it! I really appreciate this everyone!

Ordes of England
715 Montague Ave
Greenwood, SC

Please see the first post and let me know if you can make it to the first event at Ordes of England! It's a chance to make your MINI famous!

Since the date has been changed to a Saturday, Floyd and Sharon will be able to make it from Hendersonville. We'll be up for the early arrival and pub. Sounds like a good time!

I think we should be able to do that, will have to wait and see whether we'll bring one MINI or both.

At 1 pm we will have to try the pub food too. Hmm...never would have thought a MINI would make me put on weight.

Yes yes, bring both! And excellent! I think we'll have a good showing at both events!

Corrina from Ordes of England called me today to verify our date and time. I've pushed the start time for the MINI showing at Ordes to 12 noon to accommodate those coming from out of town. If you know of anyone else who would like to show off their MINI (or Mini!) at this event, please welcome them to do so! See you all on the 13th!

Well let me help you out with at least one name..
Then maybe others will feel OK about putting their real names to a post.

I am David aka: cabriopilot and the plus one is normally my daughter Katarina.

And Katarina apparently mistakes PT Cruisers for MINI Coopers. FOR SHAME!

(And I've added your +1...)

We stopped by Ordes today for some dinner. I had the **** and Bull, which was awesome! Liz had the Fish and Chips and just wants to let everyone know that the fish portion is quite large.

For the drinkers, Ordes has a full bar, but I limited myself to a bottle of Old Peculiar, and Sam Smith's Old Brewery Pale Ale, both of which were quite good. I'm going to have to find some way to order some of these imports to take to brew swap next year at the Dragon!
