Well to be honest those few seconds must be charged to the driver, to make this test a reliable one, they must switch cars and make the same test. otherwise it does not reflect the car´s ability.

 

those guys suck at driving, period.

 

The dude that drove the Renault def seemed like a better driver.

 

I wouldn't knock Tiff's driving. Needles is a well known endurance driver, running a number of Le Mans races not to mention his background in formula driving including a short stint in Grand Prix. But I wouldn't worry as you are not going to see a Clio on the streets in the US and Renault does have the upper hand in the hot hatch arena, just look at the R5 Turbo and Clio V6. But like I said how often are you going to run into a Clio Cup?

 

They have it wrong in the title anyway. This is a test between the Clio RS Cup and the Cooper S with JCW tuning kit which is NOT 208hp which it says in the title.

Drop the correct springs and sway in there and the oversteer problems are gone. The stock S is very sloppy indeed.

And tiff is an incredible driver. Been a Porsche factory racer since the 80's
