Ireland Engineering camber plate noise?

I just wanted to see if what I am experiencing is 'normal'.
I have H&R coilover mated with a pair of ireland adjustable plates (Street) since last winter. It did not make any noise early this year (winter) but as the weather got hotter, it started to make 'pop' 'creak' 'grunt' noises when I turn the steering wheel at stop or at a very slow speed.

What could be the cause of the noise? Is it the hot weather? spring binding? Thank you all in advance!

have someone move the steering wheel back and forth while you are looking at the area where the noise is coming from.

I would think just taking them off and checking everything would be the best bet.

I had the same problem once. It turned out to be the spherical bearings. I replaced them with higher quality ones and the problem went away. Call Ireland and say that you have a problem. They may do something for you.

Make sure that the bearings are tight in the bore. Use spacers if necessary.

Good Luck,
Mike
