I'm leaving work tomorrow and riding down to Tampa to visit my parents. It usually takes me 9-10 hours and I usually dread the ride.

Normally I drive the H2 because my wife and two girls are with me. However, tomorrow I'm driving the mini and looking forward to it.

Just me and Ernie, windows rolled down, tunes turned up.... I can't wait.

I love driving by myself and the thought if getting to drive the mini for 10 hours and no one to bother me is GREAT...

WOOHOO....

You will be very pleased at how comfortable you will be driving.

Back in late May I drove from South Florida to Minnesota straight through both ways for a total of 60 hours and 3000+ miles behind the wheel round trip for my daughter's high school graduation.

 

Load up the Mp3 player and cruise!
Please report back as to your mileage, and the condition of I95, since I am considering a drive from Maryland to Orlando in October.

Considering the same drive after the kids are back in school, but I think I'll be involving the Hubby and kid. Got to do the family thing in FL for about a week. It's just the thing to do. The ride in the Mini will be fun!

We did nine hours to The Dragon last year in November just after taking delivery of the Mini. It was a blast, even with the family, bags, and new puppy that I just couldn't leave home.
