Whats new for 2009?

I gather that the cost of some options might be going up... but anything significant?

Any new colors? I can't really get enthusiastic about any of the 2007/2008 colors.

I hear that they're adding 3 new colors: lime green, kumquat orange and some kind of pink or something. I also heard that they're discontinuing the BRG and the sparkling silver (and maybe one more?). And finally, supposedly a new metallic black is also coming.

Interesting thing about the colors that they look completely different depending on whether you pick a black or white roof, and also the car has a totally different look once you add stripes. Very easy to customize.

DTC(Dynamic traction control) which is NOT the same as DSC(Dynamic Stability Control). It is new for 09 with in the new Sport package that will be available in December.

It's actually July. The 2009s will also come with extra torque steer and more turbo lag (MCS only) as standard.

I'm aware of the current month. However, the rumors of the "fun colors" was a joke from April 1st.

The idea of an orange coupe almost had me jumping out of my chair! Talk about getting nailed by very old April Fool's joke...

I did think it was fishy that they would delete BRG... not gonna happen.

The orange that came on the convertible is the best paint color yet, IMO...unfortunately, I have no interest in the 'vert.

This sounds interesting....where can I learn more about this package?

among the major tweaks, dsc is now standard, the MFSW is part of the prem pak (wood $250 extra), sport pak will offer DTC in december, and the blue/black leather/cloth option is gone.
