Short review of the Clubman, followed by a 3-lap race with a go-kart on an indoor go-kart track!

Spoiler: yeah, we know, the Mini really does handle like a go-kart!

Great video, it demonstrates that even on a "tight" Go-Cart track the Clubman can out run a go cart! Imagine what a regular Mini could do!

 

So would the non-S Clubman fare as well or not as it has slower acceleration off the block?

 

Now that is and awesome test.

I wonder if thy will let me take mine on the track to see if i can out do his time.

 

I gotta admit that was a pretty cool video.

 

Probably not. Acceleration is what won that race, and only by a hair.

 

Interesting video. The blondie man-boy dogged on the Clubman in his analysis of the vehicle.

Still, didn't you think it'd be fun to bump into the gokart with your Clubman!

 

serusly. he said it himself that the clubman was aimed at people who liked the mini but needed a little room and then dogged the mini characteristics of it (big speedo, toggle switches, etc)

also, i wonder what the race would look like with any other car pitted against the go kart...

 

Always wanted to run on an indoor gokart track but the outdoor road tracks are just soo much more fun. Oh yeah... did I hear "Jeremy Lust" right? Are we sure he's in the right industry?
