Recommendation: Adam's Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner

I bought a bottle of Adams' Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner a long time ago, but finally got around to using it this weekend - it's good stuff.

I've had a couple food stains on my passenger seat for probably 2 years now (2004 MCS with Space Cloth) and Adam's took 'em out easily: Just sprayed it on the stains, rubbed it in with my fingers, and then blotted off the excess with a detailing MF.

The only problem was that when it removed the stains it showed me how dirty my seats were! I had to use it all over both seats to make them evenly clean. That didn't take long at all, though. I just had to spray them a couple times to make sure the cleaning was consistent.

I haven't used other cleaners like this before, but I can't imagine there would be something easier to use.

Carept Cleaning

There are many people around who hold strong beliefs about carpet cleaning or upholstery cleaning, that are simply fallacious. These people are not to be blamed however, because these beliefs are quite common and have been propagated widely over the years, sometimes by recognized and established carpet cleaners. This is my opinion you can agree or not but I know what works best for me.

I can give you one recommendation on a product that might not clean as efficient as some of the higher end products but you also don't want to leave any of those in your fabric without an extractor or at the least a Bissell Little green/pro heat steamer.

Lowes sells a product called Folex (white bottle purple lettering) it is free of any fragrance it is not very soapy and has never failed me on seats or headliners. Carpets I usually step up to something a little stronger since I am going to steam cleaning them anyways. This stuff is one of those little tricks of the trade things.
