MINI's Competing in Solosport (ie Solo2) in Canada?
Anyone here competing in Canadian events under Canadian "Solosport" (aka Solo2) rules? Would be interested in hearing how others are doing up against the BMWs, Subarus, etc.
We've got the Canadian National Solosport Championships happening @ Slemon Park, PEI a couple of weeks ( www.nationalautoslalom.ca ). I'm hoping a few of us in DSS (similar to SCCA's DSP) will be able to put on a good show.

MINIs go 1-2-3 in D-Super Stock (Canadian version of D-Street Prepared in SCCA), including my Comp. Edition 7th overall by PAX, at the 2008 Canadian Autoslalom Championships in Summerside, PEI.

FYI:
The name "SOLOSPORT" is a registered name of a company that used to run the CASC-OR soloII series in the 1990's.
They don't run it anymore (haven't for years 'n years) but I think the name is still registered.
