Just posted some photos from Friday's activities at the Watkins Glen Vintage Weekend. The Mini (and MINI) is the Tour de Marque car for this years' event and about 70 Vintage and new MINIs participated in a luncheon at the Knapp Winery in Romulus, NY (including a complementary bottle of wine with a commorative label) followed by two different "ralley routes" about 50 miles long that ended at Watkins Glen State Park. We then took two tour laps of the "Old Course" (the race track that used the local roadways including downtown streets in the late 40's and early 50's). We then parked in an area on Franklin Street reserved for the Mini participants from which we observed the race renactment, partyed and had a great time. :smile:
