Best Dealers in Florida
Best Dealers in Florida
Hi all! My family is planning to buy a brand new MCS & an MCSa to export overseas. We really like this tiny car, and would love to find them a new home.
I am not quite familiar with mini dealers in the USA, but i am glad i found NAM.That's why i got you guys for.Very well..I am in search of great dealers in FL.MSRP or MSRP off is my top priority. The cheapest the best.
I've already configured my mini in the website builder, and exactly know what i am looking for.Dealers can be all around FL, being Miami my first choice.
So, what do you have in mind?
Dealers with variety on lots would be important for me too.Nevertheless i don't mind waiting for what i want.
I just want your thoughts and recommendations, so can you point me to the best overall buying experience?
Thanks

First welcome to NAM.
There aren't many MINI dealerships in South Florida but there are 2 in Miami which is South Motors MINI and Braman MINI of Miami. Then there is in Broward County Lauderdale MINI in Fort Lauderdale and Vista MINI in Coconut Creek.I dealt with Lauderdale MINI and Vista MINI since they didn't sell over MSRP.I did buy from Vista MINI because they discounted off of MSRP so I would recommend them and Giorgio Ortiz who was my MA and very helpful and knowledgeable.Plus he is also a NAM member too.IIRC his screen name is diablito.
Now since you already configured your MINI at miniusa.com and saved it you can then have it emailed to the dealerships and see who will give you the best deal overall and who will work with overseas delivery. You can type in a zip code for example 33137 (Miami) to locate the local dealers listed on miniusa.com.
Another thing you should know is most dealers have pretty much sold off their inventories due to such a high demand for the car so finding one on the lot might be a bit difficult.
I hope that helps you some.

I paid $1500 over Invoice at lauderdale mini, i went first at edmunds.com input the upgrades for my car and showed me invoice price, then took it to both dealers, lauderdale and vista to compare......
I agree with Vista Mini in Coconut Creek. I have bought two Minis there and I am happy with the price and happy with the service.
Georgio is great to work with, he really knows Minis, and if can get it for you, he will. There are a bunch of folks on NAM who have dealt with him, and I think they will all say the same thing.
Good Luck,
Larry

What freebies did you get? And which dealer? Unfortunately for Orlando there is only one dealer. We did get a lost key return service of found... and floormats... They sell every car so quickly, that just geting MSRP was good and not having to pay mark up. Their current inventory was less than 11 cars and everyone coming in was presold..... Not much luck here.. BUT happy owner! Pleased with our dealer experience tho!
Can't speak for buying in Fl. Got mine in Atlanta. Subura dealership didn't realize that the aero package, blue leather interior, fog lamps, sun roof, and 6 disc changer were ADD-ONS. None the less the 3500. miles on a '02 bought in '07 did bump the price up.
As for FL... don't go get your car repaired at Tom Bush Mini in Jacksonville. Yes they guarantee their work for a lifetime; that's if they live up to the fact that the didn't fix it right the first time. (Or added a dent)

I got mine from Tom Bush in Jacksonville. The overall experience was very good but they would not budge from MSRP. They can't even keep them in stock (they had 7 on the lot that day) so I ordered one. They threw in MINI floor mats only because it was birthday the day I build it with them.
