Picnic for 30? MINI to the rescue!

The big a** SUV that was supposed to carry all the supplies/food for a family picnic yesterday misteriously disappeared - and guess who had to bring everything to the park?

I had people stopping and staring as I kept on taking things out...

the tally was:

7 coolers (3 full)
6 bags of ice
3 cases of BlueMoon
1 case of Red Bull
48 bottle of water
2 bottles of wine
12 bottles of soda
cake
fruit platter
2 bags of briquets for BBQ
4 bags of assorted groceries
2 bags of paper plates/napkins, etc.
1 bag of decorations

and there was still room to spare (although the six foot inflatable monkey had to ride in the front with me...)

That is some excellent packing! I would have loved to have seen the inflatable monkey. And I am shocked, shocked, that an SUV proved unequal to the task.

In all fairness, it may not be the SUV's fault.
It may have gotten traded in while it was asleep last night.

(I hear that's happening a lot, lately)

The SUV is now doing the drive of shame. Its "disappearance" was supposed to teach me a lesson since I always brag on how much stuff I can fit in the MINI. They were expecting panic calls instead I just loaded Kirky and went my merry way.

No, just folded them (after strategically placing a few thing on the floor)

And no... not a professional mover, just the owner of several small cars and very good with jigsaw puzzles

Nice response!

You've effectively alleviated a concern I had over packing space and my new vehicle plan (put my deposit down on Monday, selling my Jeep on Wednesday). So THANKS!!
