Nope. You can only get it when you are stationed in USAREUR. I bought my 08 S when I was evaced from Iraq to the Landstuhl hospital.

When you PCS back to the states expect to pay up to 5% tax. This is due when you register it in your state and is based on the purchase price. I just bought my MCCS here in Einsiedlerhof... still expecting delivery in about two to three weeks.

That all depends on the state where you register it. In Colorado, as long as you owned the car in Europe for 6 months, then you don't pay any sales tax. When I brought my Saab back to Kentucky, I had to pay 6% based on the current blue-book value. It is all crazy!

Good thing I didn't know about that when I went through Landstuhl or I'd have had to have gotten one. Was just there for ten days and didn't see anything but out the window.

I'll be in Italy for a while, so I won't be paying import fees...

This will be the third car I've purchased from Pentagon, so I know the drill.

Ciao,

Jeff

Ciao,

You should be getting a discount then... maybe some more free t-shirts or hats and keychains.
