Anyone have any experience with Goodyear F 1 All Seasons? I'm looking to replace my run flats. Rick

 

Those are some great tires. Try cheking out the ratings on tire rack for some other users opinions. They are a little pricier than I would like to spend though. I am running general exclaim UHPs and love em...

 

The are great in the rain. Haven't felt them slip yet. They ride pretty smooth too. I do feel like I lost a little grip when dry cornering as compared to the Goodyear runflats. I autocrossed with them and felt like I was a drifter...I might have been cornering "a little fast" though.

I was told they are a pain to get on the wheel though...

Sidewalls are stiff due to kevlar but work and handle well.

Can be used in wet or dry and some snow or colder weather.

I'm running them, they are terriffic tires...

 

I just upgraded to these tires last week in the 205/45-17 sizing. Coming from the all season conti's on 16's I would say that the ride qualitiy is a little better and they definitely handle better. I purchased mine from tirerack along with a set of black enkei RPF1's, so with free mounting and balancing it was not a bad deal.

 

Warranty is about out anyway!

Installed a set the beginning of last August and have driven a bit over 12,000 miles since installation. First off, they ride much nicer and are a lot less expensive to purchase compared to the run-flats. Wet and dry weather traction have been excellent. These tires also worked well in moderate snow and in icy conditions. Wear seems to be very even, although the center of the tread is showning a little more wear. I have since dropped tire pressure from 34 psi to 32 psi. I'd buy another set without hesitation.

 

I'm running mine at 36psi as per the R56 owners manual. I hope that's not too much.

 

I have them on my S6. Totally different car but I do love the dry and wet grip. They have very square shoulders on them due to the kevlar and carbon fiber in the sidewalls, very nice tire. I would say that the regular GY F1's perform better in the rain, but if you are dealing with snow you've got a winner.
