Okole ease of removal for cleaning?

Interested in a set, but after reading from some folks about the pain of installing, I'm wondering how easy are they to keep clean. I was expecting to remove and wash but looks alike they must be cleaned in plae.

Thoughts?

Mine have never been dirty enough to warrant removal for cleaning. I've always just wiped them down in place, and they've cleaned up quite easily. I occasionally run a tape roller over them to remove stray lint, hair, etc. I've had them over a year and they look essentially as good as the day I installed them.

I could see how removing the rear cover could be a PITA since the seat needs to be removed to do it. The only challenging part about the fronts are the strap fasteners under the seat bottoms which would be a lot easier to detach (a one-handed operation) than attach (takes two hands and a bit of feeling around under the seat). The front seat backs and headrest covers should come off as easily as they go on.

I've always been very happy with my Wet Okoles -- no regrets.

Unfortunately, I've had to remove mine a couple of times for a little more cleaning than just a wipe down. Removing them wasn't an issue at all.

Putting them back in was more difficult, but honestly, after the initial installation(first seat) putting them in is pretty easy for me. This is just for the front seat covers since I haven't bought the back seat covers yet.

I have cleaned mine in place about 5 or 6 times now. I have found the easiest way is to get a bucket with some very mild fabric cleaner (I use 303) and a towel. I put a clean dry towel on the seat and then use another towel, get it wet and wring it out real well and wipe down the seat back. The towel on the seat collects any water that runs down the seat back. I only do the seat surfaces, not the whole cover this way. I then use some 303 fabric protectant. I don't see the need to remove them unless it gets covered in something that wouldn't just wipe up.
