just wondering, because I'm going to change the **** in my S when I get it in a couple months and I'm looking for something that's not metal so I won't burn the ***** outta my hand in these So Cal summers. I really like the look of it and it seems to have a grippy feel to it so I was wondering if it was metal or hardened plastic?

I have the R-speed **** and e-brake in crinkle black, and yes it's metal. but aside from looking like it needs batteries, it doesn't get that hot.
