New Chapter CSRA (Central Savannah River Area)

We have a new chapter forming in the Aiken SC/Augusta GA region. Jimmy Clark wanted to start a Mini Club and joined us for the past couple of events and has decided to join up with the Mini Motoring Club of the Carolinas. Would like everyone to welcome them and help out in any way we can to get them off and running. I personally would like to thank Jimmy and his wife for putting up with us and giving us a chance to help them start a new chapter. Luke, Prez

Good luck guys on starting a new chapter! I know it isn't easy to start from scratch, but keep in there! Hopefully one people realize what is available, they'll want to join our community too. Ben, A-ville VP :-)

Count me in -- at least for the next 100 days. I'm in Augusta for about that long.

Good for you! Looking forward to meeting you sometime...I'd suggest a regular lunch or dinner meet, on a set day of the month, at the same place. That way people know where to be when to meet with like minded folks, and once you start congregating there, others will notice and tell their MINI driving friends, neighbors and co-workers...

Nice meeting you folks at Maurices the other night. Good luck on starting up Aiken. You name the time and place and we'll come visit. Our friends in Aiken that are looking to purchase a MINI can't find a cabrio anywhere. Both huge Atlanta dealerships were completely out and not expecting more until Feb. '09. Centurn in Greenville averages selling 400 MINI's per year; thus far, thru June, they've already sold 450! I'm sure the rush is over gas mileage, but maybe we can convert them into 'real' MINI owners!! Good luck. Jim and Sheroyn

Club is going to have to be renamed or something.

Arts of Augusta? (AoA)
Entertaining Art Mini Motoring Club? (EAMMC)

This is Art, and the other AoA Members, Art and Art and Art. We'll, of course, need to print up a bunch of Art name tags and just hand them out to everyone, every time. First meeting? Art show.

There's a very fine piece of road in Germany, not far from where I use to live.

Autobahn 3. The A3. So, yeah - A3 works for me!
