Id like to set up a Mini meet at Buttonwood Farms. in Griswold, CT.
Sometime in August...
and I dont really see any mini meets for this side of the state

I have seen quite a few modded Coopers there in the past couple of months.

They have a huge parking lot, so space wouldnt really be an issue I dont think. And if anyone has been there they know its probably the best ice cream in CT.



Heres the plan

Meet at Buttonwood Farms on July 13th at 1:00pm(?)
After a while, we will all leave at once(Those who want to do the scenic drive.)
Rt.169N. Travel through Glasgo->Griswold->Jewett City->Canterbury->Brooklyn->and end in Pomfret
At the Vanilla Bean Cafe...get some food, drinks, hang out

Great place to go!! Calling all mini owners in CT, MA and RI!! Let make this happen!! Of course all others are welcome!! I think August 2nd is the date that is being looked at.

 

I posted in the NEMINI.org thread also...if it date happens to get changed to a Sunday, i'll be there.

 

i would go if its ANYTIME in JULY..cos on holiday form 1st week AUG for 3 week..

 

I would be down for going anytime in addition to the 2nd of august. I love that place!!

Alright this is whats planned so far.

A few people want one sooner, so Hotel came up with a date of July 13th.  Which is a sunday.

Along with that, there will still be a meet at Buttonwood Farms on the weekend of August 2nd(Lets hear what day will work for everyone)
We will also be doing a scenic drive from Buttonwoods, through griswold, canterbury, brooklyn,and Pomfret.
This is Route 169; And we will end up at the Vanilla Bean in Pomfret, CT where people can get some food, drinks, and hang out.


July 13th - Meet at Buttonwoods get some ice cream hang out
August 2nd - Buttonwoods + Mini Cruise up Rt. 169N to the Vanilla Bean Cafe.

Now if the Majority of people can make it on July 13th; We will do the Cruise/Drive then.

Awesome! We are looking at 11+ People for sunday!

I got an email from Buttonwoods, everything is good to go!

Hotel 2-5 and I will be at Buttonwoods a little before 1:00pm, we will be parking in the lower section of the parking lot near the Gazebo.

 

We got a few more people coming from MassMotoring Club!
This is going to be a good turnout.

 

Good time, good ice cream, good people and good weather.....what more could you ask for.
