ANNUAL MEETING and ELECTION OF OFFICERS
M2C2.US will hold its Annual Meeting and Elections at Safari Miles Restrauant on Hwy 16 near Denver NC. October 4th. We will meet around 4pm and hold meeting starting at 5 pm an as soon as meeting and elections are over will be dinning. This is a great restrauant. Go to SafariMiles.com and see the restrauant and menu selection. The owner Mike Fotinos is also a club member and Mini Owner. We have been there 2 times and we can have our own parking area. We will have some great door prizes, alot more than regualar Quarterly Meetings. Each Office is for 1 year no more than 2 years per our By-Laws. I would like for people to step up and nominate someone in good standing or nominate yourself if you would like to help our club.
The following is a list of Officers and VP's needed the names beside them are people who have told me they would like to run for that position.

As you noticed we have a new chapter starting up and possible another in the Fayetteville area.
Even if someone has chosen to run for an office you can also do so. Do not leave your name out of the hat just because someone else has put theirs in; after all this is an election. Who's the current executive VP? According to the bylaws that person is supposed to succeed the president unless they decline. Is the post currently open?
Also, I couldn't find anything about a CEO in the bylaws. Is this intended to be an amendment to the bylaws? If so, that's going to require a general vote and the attendant nomination process, both of which require a 2/3 vote.

The executive Vice President is Keith Strassel. Charles Gnatt is running for that position. Also the CEO is not in the By Laws and owns the Club per say. I think that is right and will check with Moorlockx, but at the present I am President and CEO. Not because I wanted it but no one else did.

O.K. People step up to the plate and get the nominations in. We will be sending out ballots in August and you can also vote at the Annual Meeting. Your dues for 2009 must be paid in order to vote, per our by laws.

I now believe that I will be in town for this election. Please add my name to the list of attendees at Safari Bar and Grill in Denver. House is keeping us from going to the Talladega race. Bummer!

Greetings all!
I paid my dues for 09 on August 11. The check has cleared but I have not received my new card. I assuem I will be able to vote without the card. Let me know if I need to do anything else.
