Rear control arms for street

Need some RCAs to reign in the excessive camber after lowering but in the UK there are only 3 readily available - Altas, H-Sports, or Eibachs. Which should I go for on my street-only car?

TIA

I may need these soon too.But my drop is minimal-we shall see.I have heard good things about h-sports(consistantly)... hit search for a plethora of comments on alta's and h sports.

Thanks. I was hoping that someone might have some feedback on the Eibachs - the seem a much beefier proposition but haven't read anything about them from end users.

Currently, the prices for the H-sports are about $300, Alta's $330, and Eibachs $510 but they look similar to SPC control arms

Eibach

SPC

The H-Sport's I have sitting in my living room right now are of a very high quality. The same fit and finish as my rear sway. If it comes down them being $20 or $30 more, I'd go Hotchkis.

That's good to know, added to the fact that they are the cheapest out of my 3 options

The Eibach arms are made by SPC. They are just simply dropped into an Eibach box and shipped to you.

JSC Speed sells the Eibach versions. They are a vendor here on NAM. I'm happy with mine and I only use them on the street. They look stock (but of course better quality) which is what I wanted as I didn't want problems with cops.

i would also check out the second generation "maintenence free" helix control arms. very light, well priced, and low/no maintenence. i've had no issues with mine. http://www.helix13.com/mini/products/suspension-chasis

I have about 25k miles on the SPC/Eibachs and have used a variety of other adjustable arms. The H-Sport bushing will deform over time and the grease fitting is useless. The price you are quoting is way too much for the Eibachs, so look for another vendor; they are worth waiting for if you must have them shipped from another continent to get a better price.

Search 'mini cooper camber' on ebay. Vendors selling SPCs for $250-$300.

One thing I forgot to add is I live in speed hump city - the number of speed humps borders on the ridiculaaaarse. Would I have to take this into consideration when choosing my RCAs?

BTW, thanks for the alternatives to the Eibachs

Consider Ireland Engineering as well. They make a set similar to the SPC.

The alta's would be a mistake, with solid heim joints they'd be noisier and have more vibration than others with the urethane bushings. The helix gen1 was heim joint too - not familiar with gen 2. I went with the h-sports after my OEM's bent on some roadworks. The h-sports are beefy enough, if you go for any beefier its at the cost of extra, unnecessary weight. Also the h-sports have zerk fittings for lubrication - i haven't neede to lube them yet and had them for a year but its reassuring that if i need to this set accommidates it easier than the others.
