R53 exhaust on R50?

Is it possible to do this switch? I know the valence would have to be switched for an S and that I would have to remove the spare tire, put on a heat shield, and also install clips to hold the bumper. But other than that can it be done? Is the pipe diameter the same and everything?

Why would you want to do such a thing? Its heavier and the header is still crimped and the exhaust is restrictive. Not to mention another muffler. OBX it, high flow magnaflow cat, use 2.5" straight pipe to an OBX or whatever muffler...

I was just wondering about this myself. I pickup a FREE exhaust from the cat back. I thought I'd give it a try.
