I read that this morning. There weren't many useful tips, but these were good:
  • Shoot with a longer lens (>50mm) to avoid distortion (tough to do at crowded car shows where I get most of my shots)
  • Use a polarizer to decrease unwanted reflections
  • Get low for a better angle

It's in the print edition, too. Nice article. Rick's stuff is always worth a good look.
