Cleaned up and organized my Detailing Cabinet
Been a while since I've cleaned up my detailing cabinet. I had alot of details in quick succession and, with all the work I was doing on the car, there was no time to organize it all. Plus we had to pull it from the wall real quick and when we moved it back I didn't bother to put everything back where it was supposed to go.
Before picture below... what a mess!

Time to clean up... but before I could do that I had to do some serious restocking. I run out of stuff from time to time, but I have NEVER run out of everything at once! I had to get more wheel cleaner, body wash (both types), microfiber cleaner, quick detailer, bug squash, and other nic naks.

Normally, I buy what I need to fill up on, then get some new stuff to try out just so I reach the free shipping limit. Didn't have that opportunity this time
BUT I STILL got some freebies (I think maybe because I mentioned my BW trim card didn't show up, which was in the box also
); I got some leather cleaner and a bug repelant. Can't wait to try them out! I also go some more brushes because the ones I had got used to spread anti-seize when I redid the suspension and I really don't want that touching the car itself. I also got some Edge detailing swabs. I've wanted to try them out for some time now, and bulk packs were on sale. From what I know, they haven't been around that long, so either they were on sale because they are useless, or I was just in the right place at the right time (rare). We'll see! I also get a few more polishing pads and some freebie finger pocket and micro fiber applicator pads.
Once I crammed it all in there I got it all organized again

Much better
Shot of the left side with the door open so you can see everything.

I added the small drawer set because it was doing nothing for me inside (full of papers that go to I don't know what). I'll put samples I get from car shows in one drawer, extra sprayers in the other, and brushes, etc. in the last. Also, my bleche white had a hole in the bottom and left a huge mess
. It's sitting on its side till I get another bottle as I threw all my empties away yesterday
And the right side

Well, clean again until the next detail!

I'm in Heaven!! Love the cabinet...where did you happen to pick it up?? My detailing supplies live in a Rolling Square Bucket w/Telescoping Handle, MF is kept in a Snap Top/Flip Top Lid Storage Container.
No store. I just love detailing (my cars) and like to have any detail covered that may come my way. I've got products for my cars and my cars alone, and then other products to use on customer cars, and then different waxes based on color and type of paint or time of the year.
Once i started to detail alot more cars for people (rather than a one off for a friend), I began experimenting with different brands and products to find something more affordable that worked just as well as what I was using and... it kind of got out of hand

Before this my detailing supplies were in a old book case that wasn't very big, and my MF towels were in a small old dresser. The towels and pads are in a slightly better walmart plastic drawer thing, but I plan to upgrade to something else, because I have way to many towels.

rwwilsonjr, collinite is behind the stack of waxes. I used it in for winter protection. lasted about 5 months! i was really impressed with how it looked as well. A little to difficult to use for me to use it all the time, but then again I would only have to wax twice a year.
M3Ntal, As far as what I use for my weekly/monthly routines on our cars I found that the below works best for me out of everything I have
Wash: Optimum Car Wash, Poorboys bug squash where needed / ONR in winter
Wheel cleaner: Detailers Pride Gel
Tire Shine: Pinnacle Black Onyx / Meguiars Hot Shine for a quickie
Windows: Stoner Invisible glass
Chrome (when I had it): Surf City killer chrome
Trim: Black Wow
Quick Detailer (I rarely do this when I'm not at a show): Poorboys spray and wipe and at shows Pinnacle Crystal Mist
Wax: Pinnacle Souveran in the warm months, Collinite 845 for winter
Claybar: Pinnacle Polyclay
Polish: I'm back and forth at the moment, but right now Pinnacle XMT... I think next time I'll use the advanced pinnacle polish again and see if I change my mind
Wheel wells and rubber: 303
Interior cleaner: armor all wipes (yes, you read that right)
Interior Protectant: Pinnacle Vinyl rubber protectant
Carpets: 303 upholstry cleaner
Engine bay cleaner: Poorboys bio-degradeable degreaser
Engine bay gloss: Meguiars #40 diluted 1:1 with water

Yep, good stuff...
I've been using Collinite since 1969 when I bought a red '67 Austin Healy MkIII. Admittedly that's a long time ago and technology has caught up a bit, but "back in the day", Collinite was the only thing that would keep that red Healy looking good...during the brutal south Alabama summers.
After all these years, I still think it's still is hard to beat overall for shine, durability and value. If applied properly nothing will last longer. And I agree that it is a bit harder to use than some of the newer products (sealants etc.). For ease of use and durability I like the Zaino products (especially the Clear Seal). Haven't tried Ultima or Epic...but I plan too.
My god, my cabinet is beginning to lok like yours!
