I have only had my 03 MCS about a month or so. Only 1350 miles to date, but with plenty more to come.

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for all you guys and gals who stepped up and bought those first build MINI's.

Thanks for all of the information on the threads that covers all of the STUFF that might could go wrong with MY MINI and how to fix it.

I think for the most part, we have some members here on the MCO site that know more about the MINI than the MINI dealers know themselves.

But I think most of all, A BIG THANKS to you all that have reported some problems,
(some have been fixed, some have not) but you seem to report a POSITIVE ATTITUDE about the little MINI. That attitude speaks volumes about the MINI.

I read all of the threads about the stumble, rattles, leaking tanks etc...but I still bought my MINI. Why...Well it had alot do with the positive posts here at MCO. Again thanks to you CHARTER MINI owners for trying to sort things out in a positive way. It's only going to get better.

Motor On!!

D.J.,
Thanks for noticing and I agree. Those who led the way and provided the groundwork for finding solutions and upgrades for the MINI are to be commended.
I have never bought a car that was so well reseached by enthusiast like we have at MCO. Great tuners, dealers, owners and supporters. Together we create a family that make MINI ownership unique and special. I'm sure that guests and new MINI owners can pick up on this when they visit.

MCO has tons of info all about the MINI with references to other sites and other boards. We have our own expert resources that will respond to questions and lend a hand if needed. So to all of you that have contributed so much- Mahalo from all of us that you have helped- I count myself included.

Here's a story about Mahalo- (hawaiian for Thank you)

Two tourists are noticing that each trash can has printed on it "Mahalo".
One says to the other- I guess it means garbage.

Cheers and Motor ON.
