I don't have my Clubman yet so I have to ask. Can anyone give me the width and height dimensions of the rear view mirror? Thanks in advance.

 

9 1/2" W x 2 1/2" H (oval shaped, measurements taken at widest and tallest points of the viewable glass)

The question is too puzzling.

 

My intentions are purely honorable, I assure you.

I was considering possibly thinking about maybe giving the thought of replacing the factory mirror with a (hopefully) smaller or same size (at least) rear view mirror with an LCD screen for use in a backup camera setup.

Most of the LCD mirrors I've run across are even bigger than the factory one and that one is already blocking too much of my view. I'm one of those tall drivers that has the rear view 'smack dab' line of sight for viewing out the right side of the windshield.

 

Is there a smaller one made for the Clubmans? I am 6'4" and kick the seat all the way back. I find myself having a hard time seeing past the rearview mirror. Its directly eye level to me and I have thought about getting rid of it all together, but it has the garage and gate remotes on it.
