Tire Help Asap!

ok my run flat tire is flat and i am wanting to switch to regular tires, can i get like one or two regular tires for my front wheels and keep the back wheels runflats? Because i have a quote for runflats for one Kumho RF tire to be installed and balanced would be around $205. But I can buy 2 regular tires for a little more than that. What should i do?

I don't think it's a good idea to combine run-flats with regular tires. Someone more knowledgeable can explain why but I'm sure the contrast in sidewall stiffness is ill-advised to mix front and rear or side to side.
I was advised to ditch my run-flats by this forum and it was great advice. Got 4 Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sports 215/45/17 for $500. Huge improvement in ride, handling and treadwear too.

Thanks, I have a friend that used to work in a tire shop and he said that it shouldnt be a problem to just replace the 2 front tires with regular tires. So i dont really know what to do. the tire place i called said that i would not be able to run both run flats and regular tires.

Yeah, I doubt that it would be a real danger, just that it would compromise the handling and balance.

You can get really cheap tires at www.edgeracing.com/ or at www.tirerack.com

You can almost get 4 tires for $200.00
