Ok, my chrome is bubbling up on my door handle :smile: I just got the car back from the dealer. I can only assume huge amounts of heat.

I'm not upset it's painted and heat treated though. I work in a factory (IT guy) and talked to our paint guy and he says in many ways it's better then real chrome, it's a harder shell when done right.

But boy, what kinda of heat makes it bubble up.

 

None of the chrome in the MINI is actual Metal..rather coated plastic...but sure it looks good and ZERO problems so far after almost 1 year since getting the car.
