I was planning upon replacing my stereo speakers in my new Mini and am wondering if it could affect my warranty. Someone at the Mini dealership thought it might. Anyone know?

 

It won't affect the overall warranty, but you might have any trouble with a future warranty claim on related parts.

For instance, changing the speakers won't cause you any warranty issues if the engine starts leaking oil, but if your head unit stops working, they might give you a hard time.
