Aero Kit Door Sill Protection

Anyone have a first gen Mini with an Aero kit and sill covers? I haven't found any that are known to fit. Like the car, they're Jet Black and show every tiny scuff or scratch. I was thinking I could put down some generic strip of non-skid tape or something but would prefer something nicer. Any ideas?

maybe try a shop that does clear bra installation and get quoted for a few strips of it?

Thanks - a good idea. I think if it were brand spankin' new I'd do that but there are a couple of scratches and small imperfections on the top of the sill I'd like to cover (hide). Actually, if I really work on it, that clear stuff is just 'un-clear' enough to obscure view of tiny imperfections.
