Depends on your dealer. We were in and out in about an hour... but I had a not-so-great MA who didn't want to take the time to go over stuff with me. All the settings are driver controlled-- you don't need the dealer to do them, but you may save yourself some time if you want to ask them to do it for you-- day running lights, 3 click turns, etc.

About an hour . I sold cars for 8 years and when I picked up my new car, I was so excited I was like walking on air. My salesguy did go through everything but again I was so excited that I wasn't getting all he was trying to tell me anyway. Do the paperwork thing and have your salesperson help you set EVERYTHING before you leave. One last thing enjoy TAKE THE LONG WAY HOME

You want at least a half hour with your Sales Dude.
If you have Comfort Access, have the dude program both key fobs.
You want to know how to open the gas tank with the pulley, all the fluid locations under the hood, OBC programming, etc.

Write a list and take the questions with you.

Double check their final paperwork and look at the dealer fees.
Ask for something free!

As others have said only an 1 to 1-1/2 hours with the dealer but make suer you have a bunch of time for driving home the Long-Long-Long way.

I picked mine up at 9:00 at night and it took me 3-1/2 hours to get home. The dealer is only 53 mile from my house all highway so i went the long way and made the trip 91 miles.

Best fun i have had picking up a new car.

Its hard to try and take it all in. My MA went through everything with me. even how to change settings like daytime running lights, but as mini on stated i wasn't getting it all. In fact i had trouble figuring out how to even use the signals after leaving the dealers parking lot.

Have fun and again take the LONG WAY HOME.
