JCW GarageInterested in John Cooper Works (JCW) parts for your 2nd Generation MINI? This is where JCW upgrades and accessories for the MINI Clubman (R55), Cooper and Cooper S (R56), and Cabrio (R57) MINIs are discussed.
Looks like you guys managed to swoop up all the nicest looking Coopers and put them all in one thread! I ended paying $2,500 for my kit painted and installed by my local dealer. At the time, Morris Mini would not ship, but it looks like things change....
Question from an expectant mini-owner (non-S). How hard is it to install the aero kit DIY? Or is this something best left to the professionals?
Its really not that difficult. The most intimidating aspect is the plastic clips (they either come out fine or they want to break). Finding a good paint shop will be the bigger problem.
anyone paint the plastic molding around the kit along with the wheel arches? pictures?
Her ya go..take a look at my gallery..not real good at posting pictures..also the kit really should be installed by a good body shop..the painting requires proper sanding and prep before it is finished and installed...There are more pieces than you think...
