deciding, a red or yellow base mini, want to place the order this week.... Help!

 

So you want a Cooper??? Get yellow....there's a bazillion red ones.

 

I have a pure silver one now 03, but love red however saw the yellow and thought it was awesome.....

 

Yellow and Blk is a great color combo. Like gokartrid said, there are tons of red ones.

That is a very nice choice!!! I think solid roof colors are probably the most flexible should you want to do stripes or some other graphics in the future. Would you be getting the yellow colorline?

I like the smiley face idea.

 

MY got a little too orange for my taste - I really liked the LY. But there are too many CR Coopers - go yellow. There was a MY/B MCS with lightning bolts at my dealer when I got Lewis - looked like a badass bumblebee. I think a smiley face is perfect for a MINI, though.

 

just buy your own navi and save a bundle and you can take it to another car then.

 

My MY MINI has a black roof. I would have preferred a yellow roof. So my vote is for MY/MY, with the smiley face on top.

 

I vote for red, but if you get yellow, I'd say go for yellow with a white or yellow roof.

 

Which is funny because lots of owners (including here on NAM) begged for a yellow w/ more orange in it. Ya can't please everyone, I guess. I will say the lot up at the MINI dealership is a lot happier when a Mellow Yellow MINI happens to be around.

 

I agree about the yellow, a little too checker cab yellow for me. I liked the older LY better as well. If my choices were between yellow and red, it would have to be red (of course with white roof), even though I told myself once, I'd never own another red car.

Why does everyone poke fun at the yellow cars? Remember this: when you go shopping at a mall, or a big shopping center, amidst the sea of red, green, black, white, silver and gray cars, which one stands out the most? The Mellow Yellow baby!

 

i like MY/Black, but Red/White is classic, red/black looks good also....

saw a yellow with yellow top today and thought it was too much yellow.

 

Ok made my choice....all yellow it is with yellow colorline will order monday,No navi and dont want a sunroof,just conv. Package, xeons, and auto ac only....is the auto ac worth it I have it now but its hot here and rarely turn down???
