Good Century MINI service experience

I needed to get an oil change before MTTS (which meant that I wouldn't be able to get up to Hendricks to have it done). So I went to Century this morning to have it done.

David is the service manager and he is really a great guy. He impressed me as being a stand-up guy as well. I had a 9:00 appointment, waited for the car, and it was done at 10:45. That included a tire rotation.

I was very happy with the experience in general and David in particular. I would certainly consider using them in the future for service.

There you go, so nice comments. I have found them to be very good as far as service. I also have had some contact with them and they were very good at that as well. I would love for them to be more involved with the MINI Motoring Club, Greenville and Asheville chapters as they once were. Keep using them and talking to them and maybe we can get them on the right track. Luke Prez

I am really glad to hear this, thanks for sharing! I didn't want to have to drive to Charlotte to get my Clubbie serviced, but would if it meant avoiding poor service.

There is one thing I cannot (and will not) tolerate, and that is poor customer service.

Thats prolly a good idea geeks... I got along real well with the service manager and I know he would be interested in getting additional business. Let's talk about it next week and come up with a plan.

I got my mini back Friday from Century. New Clutch Assembly and Flywheel. Service was great and got it back quickly. David is a stand up guy.

Part of the reason for such improved service at Century is because Lee is back. He's one of the original MINI mechanics there. He left to train other MINI mechanics.
While he was gone, the only other mechanic they had who was worth anything is Brent.

If either of them work on your MINI, you'll have no issues with the service.
They've been through several mechanics over the last couple of years while Lee was gone.

Also, go back to the shop and visit with them. They'll be glad to give you a "hands on" demonstration of what they're doing to your car.
It's better than sitting in the waiting room.
