I want the attached grill cover, but can't find it anywhere. Anyone know how to get one?

 

It's made by Hamann. Pretty $$$, and usually really hard to find. I just did a brief search online and couldn't find them anywhere.

If you find one, and if you have a light-coloured car, do yourself a favour while you have everything apart and spray-paint the body-coloured stuff behind the grille black before you put the new grille on. I saw a similar grille on a yellow MINI a while back, and it looked a little funny to see all of the yellow supports/etcetera peeking out from behind the grille.

And you weren't kidding....a bit of plastic...and almost $500! Expensive habit I've picked up.

 

I'd heard rumors that the MG series was coming back...but didn't know it was already here. Nice to see the old stuff is new again. I've got a Brother in Law that will salivate over this...and a sister that will hate me for telling him. Oh well...blood's thicker than water...but motor oil trumps them both!
