Ready to Order MCS, a few questions...

Because of the price of gas , it's time to retire my 24V GTI in favor of better MPGs. My question is centered around the Sport Pkg, what exactly do you get for your $$? I know about sway bars, but what about springs and dampers? Are they different from stock? Does anyone know the spring rates of each? A friend of mine told me to stay away from the sport suspension because it is too stiff, but I'm used to a stiff ride; my GTI has a Shine Real Street Kit and it's okay by me. I'm leaning towards getting the Sport Pkg. with LSD and stock 16 in. wheels. They'll become my winter setup and I'll get some lighter 17" wheels and tires for the nicer weather. Thanks...

According to people, stiffer springs and stiffer shocks as well as thicker swaybars are included in the Sport package.

Yup Stiffer shocks, springs and a larger swaybar. Increasing the swaybar from 17mm to 18mm. When I ordered mine, I opted for stock. I saved the money to get aftermarket.
