Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix at Beaverun July 12/13

Mowse just posted about the British car day in Pittsburgh at Schenley Park, for the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix......the weekend PRIOR to that, the Vintage racers have an event at Beaverun. During the Beaverun event, there is a two day autox that is open to all cars. Beaverun has a very nice autox pad and it's really neat to watch some of the vintage action on the road course while your there for the autox. I'll be there both days, either in my MINI or co-driving with my dad in his TR6. Anyone else interested in heading out for this?

That sounds like a fun time. Vintage photographers like old cars too.

No I don't. Back in 1969 a couple of astronauts jumped me & took my Hasselblad to the moon with them.

I was mostly a 35mm kind of guy. I use flash gas not flash powder.

The event the next week is great! The Pitt club has a parade with a police escort that had 80+ minis last year. This is a huge show of thousands of cool cars! we had a blast in '05.

Well, as all good plans seem to go.....I'm not going to be able to make it out for this as planned, but I'm sure all who go will have a great time.
