Celeste, my 03 MCS, has been to 29 US states plus British Columbia, Canada, since January! Took a little under 20k miles to get there, mostly on three long road trips:
the first one on pickup in Memphis, TN and drive back home to TX. The second from TX to Seattle, WA and back, and the third from TX to Maine and back.

Hi, I'm doing the Memphis, TN to Los Angeles, CA trip next week. Any tips? I plan on not taking a direct route through Texas, but rather hit the northern states including South Dakota (for Mt. Rushmore), to Montana, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, back to CA (got to go through Vegas the wife says--in all some 10-12 states.

1.) Did you bother to keep your car clean during your road trip? How?
I'm thinking of getting an Auto Glide car blade to dry it off, but buy a bucket and soap in TN (since I'm flying there, don't want to carry too much stuff)

I'm already taking an Alpine CD Changer, a GotMINI armrest, Custom Whalen Shift Machine ****, and lots of other stuff on the plane with me!

2.) Where did you stay along your trips?

3.) Did you spend a day in each state or just drive through?

11K miles since Jan 29...

 

JoeGreen is 6 1/2 months old, has 16 K, and has been in 11 states with me:

Ilinois, Indiana, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia. We're thinking about heading to Maine next.

Truly love the auto, the motoring, and meeting folks who want to know more about MINIs.

 

I feel so under traveled, having only motored in MA, CT, ME, NH, VT, and the province of Quebec... but I am planning road trip to DC at some point soon...

 

None! I don't have a mini! :???:
