In an accident that was too horrible for words (), I somehow managed to lose one of the chrome bolt caps from my (exorbitantly overpriced) official MINI Cooper S chrome license plate frame.

Does anyone have one of the bolt caps they're no longer using that they could spare?

 

Did you get any responses? I also lost one of my bolt caps .... any suggestions other than to purchase an entire new chrome frame?

 

If you go to Pepboys or Autozone, they sell those things for like 3 bucks. I know for sure they sell black ones, and at worst, you spray paint those silver. Just a suggestion.

 

I do have a set of silver ones... somewhere. I have no idea if they'll fit over the screws in the "S" plate, but they come with their own. I got it a while ago, but I'm sure they still carry them at AutoZone, Pepboys, Advance, Murrays, etc (don't even remember where I picked it up).

pep boys have chrome and glossy black caps that fit perfect. screw that buying a whole new frame!

I ended up getting a set of spares from my friendly neighborhood Service Advisor. (Thanks, Todd!) I'm not sure if they ripped open a plate frame in the back to give them to me, or if they've got spares, but I asked and he happily provided.
