Erik808-
Nicely done. Very aggressive MC. Very new-paper plates!
I like the wide wheel lip and clean look. It begs for you to do something with the brakes.

Now your assignment.
one- keep it all clean! That way it all keeps looking good.
two- don't ever scrape your wheels on those curbs- your rims have built in curb magnets to make it interesting.
That way it all keeps looking good.

so what wheels are those? they are sharp!

yeah, i plan to go to euro's also for my wheels mount and balance when my mcs comes later in oct.

yup, watch out for those curbs. and the brake dust, especially on the front wheels. i just got the rejex stuff from the local corrosion-x dealer in hawaii kai. i think it works great. dirt and dust is easy off. haven't tried it as a wax, although it says you can use it safely on auto paint, as well as did car and driver in one of their reviews. if you wanna sample some, lemme know.

Nope,
It applies when you get new wheels- Got any new wheels?
Then it applies to you.
I hate brake dust-
I hate curb rash-
I hate all rashes.
Enough said.

P.S. Any rim-crunching stories anyone ??

After surgery, looking at my glued together skin, dehiscence is but a thought away.

Scraping ones new alloy wheels is in the same vane. You hope you do good and avoid it but about 10-20% of the time it happens.

Here's a story on wheel scraps.
I had an old van my wife drove daily for about 10 years. The right sided hub caps were entirely scaped to death.
The car was doing poorly and was unreliable so she drove a new Honda Odyssey and I drove the old van daily.
I took the car to a mechanic and got it running pretty good, I took off the two hub caps and sanded and painted them with spray paint from Walmart. I put them back on the car and drove it about 25,000 more miles before I sold it. The reworked hubcaps looked perfect after all that time. No scraps. It is possible.

I do have a Honda Odyssey van with three scraped alloy wheels at home now. It is possible.

Talk about opening old wounds! :???:

I'm a fisherman so it is very dangerous for me to cross bridges, pass lakes and pond or drive along rivers. I instinctivly turn towards the H2O like some bobblehead doll.

I was motoring along side an estuary and thought I saw a Striped Bass chasing bait schools along shore. I slowed and then reversed and backed up to get a clear view. The curb curved slightly, I did not. Nice installation of custom scars on my white SLites. :???:

A Purple Heart for my MINI.

Happy Motoring!
