Can someone tell me what rims are this?

Hi people!

I want to know what kinda rims are this?

http://www.allvehicles.co.uk/672.jpg

Not sure if they are the ones that come with the 08 Mini cooper S with sports package. The one in the pick seems to be an 07, but I really love the look of those rims since I ordered a 08 Mini S with sports, but I kinda think the 08 has different spokes rims.

Any idea?

Thanks!

MINI's come with wheels....Cadillac Escolade's have rims. They look like S-Lites to me, (aka S-Heavy's)

Those are R85 "S-Lites" also called "LeMans" and some other names. These were part of the "Sport" package upgrade for the first generation MINIs. They came in silver or white from the factory, but I've also seen chrome and black ones as well as some other customized ones.

It's hard to tell from the lighting in the photo, but the ones on that car appear to have been painted or powder coated to an anthracite color--looks good though.

BTW - The year of that MINI is a 2004 or earlier. Can you spot the clue?

Technically if you dig into the configurator,

on the last page under wheels burried 2/3 the way to the end...

they still offer the Chrome R85 S-Heavy/S-Light wheels.

If everything on that car is stock other than the wheels it could only be one year. It's a 2004 MCS and not earlier.

Reasons are:
1) Lights are pre-facelift xenons (2005 are gatlin gun style)
2) Ribbed chrome front grill (2005 smooth chrome around Grill)
3) There were no Pepper White MCS's made until the 2004 model year.

I've seen these before... Only in the European MINI magazines though. They come from the factory painted in the anthracite color, but are not available in the US... as far as I know.
