I know from the drive on Saturday there was more interest in the race track event my other car club is sponsoring...so here is the link to the information

http://forums.audiworld.com/rockymtn/msgs/6727.phtml

Feel free to contact me directly, or contact Pat directly for information. I have his mailing address for entry fees if you need that information. Make sure to read through the info and make a solid commitment if you are going as that will affect the cost for all other people. This will be an amazing day with many types of cars...let's show them what the MC and MCS are made of

Jon.kessel@comcast.net

Hope to see you all there

Deadline has been extended, initial deposit to reserve the track has been received, and there are still a few spaces available. If there are still people interested, make sure to contact us soon, as we will be cutting numbers off so as not to over pack the track.

Can't wait to see everyone out there..

well I sent off my money last week, and am looking forward to SCR in Sept.

New wheels and tires arrived today, so I am set for the auto-x this weekend.

Look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones

Grant

Nice Grant!!! I bet you are so excited about your wheels and tires. I will be running on my every day tires out at the track...but next year I hope to have some 17" SSR Comps with R-compounds...not that I am that good of a driver, but I think it would be fun to have that much "stick" on the car around the corners.

See ya on the 8th, and have a good time at autocross.

Well, only a few days away from track day...is everyone getting excited?

Most of the RMCB5 guys should be showing up between 800 and 830 to get things set up...we got some display tents for shade, tons of sports drink in huge coolers, etc. Then we will be doing a super short meeting about track safety, just for those that have not been on the track before. It is always a good review.

For those that have been debating...it has turned out that we have some spaces available, but as a group, we have decided to leave the entry fee for registration at $100 each day of the event, which will then be divided up between the drivers that sent in early registration. All members that have registered early have sent in $100 at this point to help with the deposit and reservation for the private session. Sooooo, if you are still interested, feel free to come on over and get a little track time. We would all love to see you out there. Have a great weekend everyone...and if we don't see you at the track, I hope to see you at the Conclave next weekend.

This is all so excting, I can hardly contain myself

Jon,
Monday is going to be a blast. Are any of your female co-workers going to come out for rides?

I know one more person that would like to bring there Yel/Blk MCS. We are going to meet first thing Monday and cruise up to 2nd Creek. Let me know if that is ok.

Look at your PM.

Thanks.

BTW...I forgot...there are some girls from work that are interested...but none of them have said that they are for sure going. I know of 4 maybe, and 2 possilby. I have 2 other bike riding friends that will be coming along for rides...they are a riot, very "New York". You will understand when you finally meet them.

I'm ready! Changed the brake pads a few weeks ago, put in an Alta intake last week and changed the brake fluid to Motul today. I'm convinced though that the Kumho MX's are going to be toast after Monday (3500 miles).
